RE: Open r5 mail files in r6... ~Hank Nimjipygennivu 13.Dec.03 03:54 AM a Web browser General 6.0.1Windows 2000
A couple of questions first:
1. Do you connect to a server and use the same ID file on the 6.01 client as you did in the R5 client?
2. Did you have a habit of setting the property "Enforce a consistant ACL across all replicas"?
Unless you force a consistant ACL, you have Manager access to all local databases. Not being able to get into it leads me to believe that this setting is turned on. Since you can no longer get into it, I am led to believe that you are probably using a different ID file.
The reason you can probably open your contacts file is the ACL is not set the same, so you have full Manager access to it locally.
